Who we are

SheffieldHive (sheffieldhive.com) is a community map for reporting and tracking issues around Sheffield, UK. It is operated by an individual, not a company.

What data we collect

• Submitted pins — location coordinates, a description, and any photos you choose to upload. These are displayed publicly on the map.
• Fix reports — star ratings, optional notes, and optional proof photos submitted by community members.
• Contact messages — your name, email address, subject, and message if you use the contact form on this page.
• Analytics data — if you consent, Google Analytics (GA4) collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, device type, and approximate location. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.

How we use your data

• Pin and fix data is displayed publicly on the map to help the Sheffield community track local issues.
• Contact messages are stored securely and used only to respond to your enquiry.
• Analytics data (if consented) helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
